7th May Retreat Update…

After having our WWC team meeting this week we have decided to run the retreat from 10:00am to 2:00pm, giving us more time to really feel the Zen!

Our Yoga instructor Kaye will be doing a 60min relaxation session, then on to a food Demo by Petra from The Goodness Kitchen; after morning tea/ light lunch, Tommy from the Paeroa Acupuncture Clinic, will be talking on our Meridian Cycle. We also will be introducing Breath Meditation. All very exciting and you will feel totally Zen by the end.

Our favourite of the day was Petra’s Passion Fruit slice it was totally divine, drop by and try a slice while you can!

Mini Retreat Nourish your Body and Mind Mini Retreat “Zen International”

 

Women’s Wellness Circle NZ is hosting another inspirational Mini Retreat focusing on the Zen of life; 7th May 2017.

So come along and join us for a relaxing 4 hours; It’s time to throw of the stresses of your week and take some time out for you, slow down, nourish your body and mind, through Relaxation Yoga, Meditation, Nutrition (Food Demo) and Inspirational Guest Speaker: Tommy Tang, Topic: Meridian Body Clock. Also enjoy a yummy morning tea by Petra at The Goodness Kitchen.

Harmony

First of all let me tell you that you are truly a Beautiful Bright Soul and YOU are in control of YOUR Health and Wellbeing.

We all need support at one time or another, my goal is to make it easy for you to find that support.

The Women’s Wellness Circle NZ is bringing together a variety of Supporters in an accessible way.

Supporting you on your Journey to Health, Happiness and Wellbeing.

By harmonising the system! Bringing together Holistic Health Practitioners, Nutritionists and Trainers; to complement and work with you.

I want for us to work alongside western medicine, I believe that  we can work in harmony, to achieve a balanced support system that looks after every aspects of your health and wellbeing.

10 years ago I started with a small fabulous group of women in my own home, practicing meditation, talking about our health and wellbeing, we had some amazing nights and often I would invite my wonderful Friend Tommy Tang, who would come and share. Teaching us about Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, Tommy is truly an inspirational, giving, humble, human being.

I believe everyone should have a personalised Wellness Go-To; a support system unique to you, I want each and every one of you, to take control of your health and wellbeing.

Here is a little exercise for you….

Think about Two health GOALS you have, write them down and beside each one, place an affirmation or as my little sister Zara and I like to say, an ‘afemination’!

Here are my Goals:

1. My 8 week fitness challenge with Ginny McArthur – “I have created my own environment for positive change”

2. Practice Yoga everyday – “I am supported in every way to achieve this goal, I will take time out for me”

I would also like to share a short film with you. The other night I came across a short film on Gaia, “Donna Karen’s Dream”…and what a dream it is – this is a must see!!

Making a positive change in our health and wellbeing is essential for ourselves and our future.
